Approximately 100 local residents attended the public exhibitions in Dalton and Ulverston last September, hosted by Infinergy to provide information and answer questions about the Furness Wind Farm proposal. Just under half of the visitors voiced their opinion about the proposal by filling in a questionnaire. The responses to the questionnaires show overall support: 60% of the respondents, whereas 29% are against. 11% of respondees remained undecided and choose to await more information, which will be available in the Environmental Statement (ES). This is a report in which the results of various surveys undertaken are documented, which will be submitted along with the planning application.
