Benefits

Dealing with energy issues
The need for more renewable energy sources is greater than ever. Climate change, increasing power prices and fears over security of supply have put the issue of energy high in everyone’s mind. National and regional authorities acknowledge that renewable energy is an important solution to meet the challenges of our modern lifestyle and its high energy demands.

Communities
Infinergy believes that the local community should benefit from the development of a wind farm. For instance, a wind farm that moves to the construction stage can create opportunities for local contractors. Furthermore, at Infinergy we are always open to comments and suggestions regarding community benefits so please do not hesitate to contact us.

Community ownership
The Furness Wind Farm has been designed to include the re-powering of the Harlock Hill Wind Farm. Harlock Wind Farm is owned by Baywind, which is a community owned entity – in this way the community benefits from the operation of the Harlock Wind Farm. Infinergy and Baywind have entered into an agreement whereby Baywind will continue to benefit from the wind farm through the re-powering of Harlock Hill Wind Farm.
